We get a teen perspective on technology as well as what it is like to be a geek in a rual area.  Plus, Cal has a problem.

Plus what should Cal do about his netbook situaion?

    Also… I really feel for Nate. I can’t imagine being a geek without access to technology. I think I would lose my mind.

    Get the Dell. Forget the Mac. You need the full Windows PC experience. A Joe Schmoe perspective if you will. You’ll be getting typical netbook PC hardware, seeing how it copes with a pre-installed Windows, experiencing just how big of a deal ‘nagware’ really is, etc etc. All things a boot camped Macbook Pro won’t give you.

    Get the Dell. You know it makes sense. ;-)

    as i understand it, the dell mini has has some flash issues due to the lack of processor. if you surf flash sites, Dell may not hold up.

    Seems to me that the MacBook is the best all around unit. Go with the netbook and you might be smacking yourself in the head the first time you find it underpowered for anything.

    I remember this rule every time I drive my vette and then climb back in my 4 cylinder truck …it hurts, it hurts!
